Ingredients

  • 4 C. cooked wild rice
  • 3/4 C. finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 C. dried cranberries
  • 1/3 C. slivered almonds
  • 2 med. peeled or unpeeled cooking apples, coarsely chopped
  • 4- to 5-lb. boneless whole turkey breast, thawed if frozen

Directions

In large bowl, mix all ingredients except turkey.

In 3 1/2- to 6-quart slow cooker, place turkey. Place wild rice mixture around edge of cooker.

Cover and cook on Low heat setting 8 to 9 hours.
