Parmesan crisps are amazingly easy cheese crackers that you can whip up in about 10 minutes. The crisps go well with tomato soup, ranch dressing or even just plain. These are perfect snacks for your next barbecue or small gathering.

  • 1/2 C. Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp. smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper

It's highly recommended that you grate your own Parmesan cheese to get it as fresh as possible. Grate the cheese with the smallest holes on your grater.

Heat the oven to 300° F and spread parchment paper on a cookie sheet. Spray with cooking oil to prevent sticking.

Use a tablespoon measure to scoop out cheese and place it on the parchment. Gently flatten the little piles of cheese with the back of the spoon. These will spread, so leave four inches of space between cheese piles.

Sprinkle each crisp with paprika and pepper. Bake for 5 minutes or until the cheese begins to turn golden. Remove from the baking sheet and cool before serving.
