Snickers Cheese Cake with Caramel
- 2 8-oz. pkg. cream cheese
- 1/2 C. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 Tbs. peanut butter (optional)
- 2 eggs at room temperature
- 2 Tbs. sour cream
- 1 6 or 9-oz. prepared cracker crust (Oreo or plain)
- 2 lg. Snickers bars, sliced
- 3 Tbs. caramel topping
Beat cream cheese, sugar, peanut butter and vanilla until creamy; add eggs and beat one at a time.
Incorporate sour cream into cream cheese mixture, add slices of Snicker bar, save some slices to put on top of the cheese cake, mix in by hand. Swirl 1 Tbs. caramel in bottom of pie crust, and pour batter into pie shell. Top with 2 Tbs. of caramel topping and swirl into cheese cake batter, scatter remaining Snickers on top.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. After baking open oven door and let cheese cake remain in the oven for 40 more minutes. Chill for 2 hours or over night.
