Sonic's Grilled Cheeseburger

- 2 lbs. ground beef
- 2 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. onion powder
- 2 T. half and half
- 2 T. water
- 6 slices cheddar cheese
- purple onion
- fresh tomatoes
- jar of pickles
- burger buns
Place the meat in a large bowl and add two teaspoons of seasoned salt, one teaspoon ground pepper, 1/8 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon onion powder, two tablespoons of half and half, and two tablespoon water.
Mix it all together and make sure the seasonings distribute equally. Divide the meat into six equal portions.
Spread the meat out flat and make them about 3/4 inch thick. Refrigerate the patties until you are ready to grill.
Preheat your grill to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and spray the grill with a bit of cooking spray.
Place the patties onto the grill.
Grill the burgers over medium heat for about five to six minutes on one side, or until most of the outside isn’t pink any longer. Flip it over and cook it for about two to three more minutes on the other side.
When the burgers are cooked through to how you like them, remove them from direct heat and place a slice of cheese over each one. When the cheese has melted, remove the burgers from the grill and onto a plate. Top off burgers with onion, tomatoes, and pickles.
