Soup with Rice and Peas
- 1 lg. can chicken broth
- 1/2 C. short or long grain rice
- 1 pkg. frozen tiny or petite peas
Bring broth to boiling and add rice. Cover and simmer 15 minutes. Strike the package of peas against a hard surface to separate the peas. Add to the boiling broth and simmer gently, uncovered, for 5 minutes. Ladle into bowls.
