  This was very tasty--but not an attractive dish. Would definitely NOT recommend adding the sour cream to the pot until just before serving. Cooking it for 7 hours leads to a curdled mess. Next time, will use Golden Mushroom soup. This really is a good recipe, just needs a tweak or 2.

  This is one of my favorite recipes. Fancy it up for special occassions with wild rice. People are so impressed and think it's a complicated recipe.

  This recipe was AMAZING. I used Cream of Celery instead of Cream of Mushroom, and served over a big pile of brown rice. Absolutely fantastic. This'll be a regular in our house from now on :)

  Sounds like it would be too salty for my taste buds. Leave out the onion soup mix and it is a recipe I make all the time that I serve over rice or mashed.

  I must say I wasn't impressed. I too added whole mushrooms and they were actually the best part of the meal. Very bland and looks like just a pile of I dunno what on a plate. Defintiely will make several changes next time.

  i have been cooking for a long time and just bought my first crock pot. this is something i will definitely be trying!! sounds great! i am assuming this will all fit in a 3qt crock pot. I wil post once i try it.

  This dish is very yummy, the chicken just falls apart.
  I used 4 chicken breasts , sliced in 2 pieces.
  I also added whole mushrooms. Served over rice.
  If you want something flavorful and simple, this is it.

  DELISH!!!! We had it over egg noodles, Yum!! Definitely a keeper. Something simple you could even serve to guests~They'd never know you just threw it in the crock pot!
