Southern Chicken Noodle Soup

Ingredients
- fresh chicken (breast or even thigh quarters)
- 1/2 C. chopped green onions
- 1 C. grated cabbage (red or green)
- 1/2 C. diced red raddishes
- 1/2 C. diced carrots
- 1/2 C. chopped celery
- 1 tsp. fresh rosemary (or dried)
- egg noodles
- garlic powder to taste
- salt and fresh ground pepper
Directions
Begin by browning the chicken in the bottom of a heavy soup pot. Add all veggies and seasoning with 6 cups of water. Continue cooking over low heat until chicken is falling off the bone and veggies are flavorful and tender. Bring to a low boil, add egg noodles and cook until tender. Serve with hot dinner rolls and/or crackers.
