  • 4 round steaks
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup of white flour
  • 1 and ¾ teaspoons of ground pepper, black
  • ¼ cup lard
  • 1 cup milk

Season the steak using about ¼ teaspoon of pepper and ¼ teaspoon of salt then put the steak aside and let the seasoning set in. In an empty bowl, the flour is mixed with a teaspoonful of pepper. The steak is then dipped in flour, then in the beaten egg and back in the flour

Heat the lard in a large skillet over medium heat. The steaks are then fried in this skillet for about 3 minutes for each side or at least until golden brown. Once ready, they are then drained on paper towels.
