Southern-Style Biscuit and Gravy Casserole

- 1 (16 oz.) container buttermilk biscuits
- 1 lb.ground sausage
- 2 C. milk
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 pkt. white gravy
Make the biscuits according to package directions. While the biscuits are baking, cook the sausage in a large skillet. Once cooked completely through, set the meat aside.
In a bowl, combine the milk, gravy, salt and pepper. Mix well before adding the cooked sausage to the bowl.Gently mix the sausage into the gravy.
Place the cooked biscuits into a 13x9 baking dish. Pour the sausage mixture over the biscuits. Bake the casserole at 350 for 15 to 20 minutes, just to incorporate all the gravy. Serve warm.
