Spaghetti and Hamburger

Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean beef, chopped
- 1-2 garlic cloves
- bay leaf
- dash cinnamon
- 1 C. tomato sauce
- 6 C. water
- 2 med. onions, finely chopped
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- 2 Tbs. butter
- 1 7-oz. box elbow spaghetti
Directions
Melt butter and brown chopped beef. Add chopped onion and garlic, salt, pepper and cinnamon. Add bay leaf and tomato sauce, mixed with 6 C. water. Let it simmer for about 15 minutes and add the spaghetti. Cook until tender and the liquid is absorbed. Add more water if needed. Serve with grated cheese if you like.
