Spaghetti Bolognese For a Crowd
Serving Size / Yield
- 1 lb. spaghetti
- 3/4 lb. ground beef
- 1 lg. red onion, chopped finely
- 2 lg. carrots, chopped finely
- 1 14-oz. can diced tomatoes
- 1 4-oz. can tomato paste
- 3 C. water
- 3 C. beef broth
Saute beef, carrot, and onion in a large saucepan until the beef is browned and the onion is translucent. Add the tomato paste, diced tomato, water, and beef broth. Simmer partially covered for an hour. Using an immersion blender, blend partially. Keep warm while you prepare spaghetti per the box instructions.
Place cooked spaghetti into a serving dish and top with the sauce.
