  • 1/2 lb. spaghetti
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbs. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 C. marinara sauce
  • Calamari:
  • 1 lb. cleaned calamari rings
  • 1 C. flour
  • 1 C. breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp. kosher salt
  • 2 Tbs. vegetable oil

Boil pasta in large pot over medium heat for a few minutes or until al dente. Drain. Cook garlic on saucepan with olive oil for 3 to 4 minutes. Mix spaghetti with garlic. Mix sugar and marinara sauce. Set aside.

Heat oil to 360 degrees F on fryer. Mix flour and breadcrumbs. Coat calamari with mixture. Fry for 1 minute or until golden brown. Place on paper towel to drain. Sprinkle with salt. Mix with pasta and add sauce. Combine until sauce is coated.
