Spaghetti Sauce

This sauce has a very good, well-blended taste. It's excellent with spaghetti or meat balls of course. You can also add extra veggies if you like.

Ingredients

  • 1 med. onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbs. margarine
  • 1-2 Tbs. garlic salt
  • 2 15-oz. cans tomato sauce
  • 2 C. water
  • 1/4 C. flour
  • 2 Tbs. parsley flakes
  • 1 Tbs. oregano

Directions

Saute onions in margarine in large saucepan. When onions look like they are getting soft, add tomato sauce and water to pan. Mix well. As stirring, mix in flour (this will help thicken the sauce and make it not as runny). Add remaining ingredients and bring sauce to boil. When the sauce has started boiling, turn down to simmer. Simmer, covered, 2-3 hours. Stir occasionally while simmering.

*Can also add green peppers, mushrooms, or other desired veggies into sauce.
