  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 large onion, grated
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • ½ tsp. red chili flakes
  • 1 T. basil
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1 jar marinara pasta sauce
  • 1 box spaghetti pasta
  • 1 fresh basil leaf

In a pan mix the beef, onion, garlic, paprika, red chili flakes, and basil over medium low heat. Now, add the tomato paste and mix for about 5 to 8 minutes. Then, add all the pasta sauce. Turn the burner off and let it simmer. Meanwhile, boil a large pot of water, add a pinch of salt and place the spaghetti pasta there. Cook for about 7 minutes. Once it is ready, drain and place it in a plate; drizzle the beef marinara and place the basil leaf on top.
