Bring a beautiful blend of sauteed green beans, peas, and carrots to Thanksgiving dinner this year. This special meal is the perfect time to get everyone to eat their veggies.

  • 2 large, fresh carrots, chopped
  • 1 large bag of frozen peas
  • 1 large bag of frozen green beans
  • 3 tsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. garlic, minced
  • salt and pepper to taste

Put the carrots in a microwave safe dish and pour about 1/2 a cup of boiling water over them. Loosely cover dish and microwave on high for three minutes, until carrots are start to soften but are not completely done.
Add beans to carrots in dish or steamer. Microwave for another three minutes.
Drain vegetables and set aside. Heat up some butter in a pan until foamy. Now add garlic to the vegetables, and stir for just a minute, until vegetables are coated in butter and garlic.
Season with salt and pepper.
