Spiced Apples with Low-Fat Granola and Yogurt

Ingredients
- 1 lg. Granny Smith apple, cored and thinly sliced
- 1/4 C. unsweetened apple juice
- 1 tsp. fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp. grate lemon zest
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/8 tsp. ground allspice
- 2 Tbs. plain nonfat yogurt
- 1/4 C. low-fat granola
Directions
In a small saucepan, combine apple, apple juice, lemon juice, lemon zest, cinnamon, ginger and allspice. Bring to a boil. Lower heat, partially cover and simmer until apples are tender, about 8 to 10 minutes.
Spoon apples with their sauce into 2 cereal bowls, dividing equally. Put a dollop of yogurt on top of each bowl and sprinkle with granola. Serve at once.
