Spicy Applesauce Cake
Ingredients
- 1 box spice cake mix
- 1/4 C. oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 16 oz. can applesauce
- 3 oz. cream cheese
- 2 C. powdered sugar
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease Bundt cake pan with the oil. Mix cake mix, eggs and applesauce with a spoon for about 2 minutes or until blended. Pour into bundt pan. Bake 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Blend cream cheese, margarine, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Spread on top of cake.
Substitutions: You may use a can of apple pie filling instead of applesauce. You can also substitute powdered sugar sprinkled on top of cake instead of cream cheese glaze.
