Spicy Black-Eyed Peas

Ingredients
- 1 lb. dried-eyed
- 1 med. onion, chopped
- 6 C. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 3/4 C. medium or hot salsa
Directions
In slow cooker, mix all ingredients except salsa. Cover; cook on High heat 3 to 4 hours. Stir in salsa. Cover; cook on High about 10 minutes or until hot.
Serve with: Collard Greens
