Spicy Chile Burgers

This spicy low-carb burger uses flour tortillas instead of buns.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground chuck
  • 4 whole green chiles, canned
  • 1/4 C. salsa
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 4 sliced pepper jack cheese
  • 5 flour tortillas

Directions

Shape meat into 8 patties and top 4 patties with one with a green chile and a dollop of salsa.  Sprinkle pepper over the top and cover with another patty, sealing in the chile and salsa.  Grill burgers to desired doneness, then put wrap burgers in tortillas with cheese.

Serve with: Pasta Salad with Herbs, Green Beans, and Feta
