Try adding some cocktail sauce to your shrimp marinade! It adds a delicious burst of flavor not found in your average shrimp recipe. Save the rest of the sauce for dipping, it’s amazing!

  • For the Shrimp
  • 2 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp. ground red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 Tbs. olive oil
  • For the Sauce
  • ¼ C. ketchup
  • ¼ C, chili paste
  • 2 Tbs. horseradish
  • 2 tsp. fresh lemon juice
  • ½ tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Whisk the ingredients of the sauce together and set it aside. Pour about 1 tablespoon of the olive oil into a large skillet, heated on medium-high. Toss the shrimp with salt, pepper, red pepper, and 2 tablespoons of the cocktail sauce. Saute the garlic in the pan for about 2 minutes and add about ½ lb. of the shrimp. Cook the shrimp on each side for 2-5 minutes, until the shrimp is cooked through. Reserve the rest of the sauce in the refrigerator until you’re ready to use it.
