  • 4 T. olive oil
  • 1 large shallot, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 tsp. red chili flakes
  • 1/3 C. dressed crab
  • 1/2 C. cherry tomatoes, halved
  • pinch of sugar
  • 1/4 C. heavy whipping cream
  • 8 oz. linguine or pasta of choice
  • 2/3 C. crabmeat chunks in brine, drained
  • handful of fresh parsley

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. In a large pot, boil pasta according to package instructions. Add shallots to your skillet and cook for five minutes. Stir in garlic and chili powder, cooking for another two minutes. Add the dressed crabmeat to the skillet and stir in the tomatoes. Whisk in sugar and cream. Add remaining crabmeat to the skillet, stirring occasionally for two minutes. Drain the pasta, reserving a little bit of water. Combine pasta with crabmeat and sauce. Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
