20 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 Box Saltine Crackers (Bag of Oyster crackers can be used also.)
  • 1 1/3 C of Canola Oil
  • 1 Envelope of Spicy Ranch Dressing Mix
  • 2 Tbs of Red Pepper Flakes
  • Optional: Add 1/8 tsp cheyenne pepper for extra heat
  • 1 Gallon Zip Lock Bag

Directions

Remove Crackers from plastic sleeves one sleeve at a time. Use a gallon zip lock bag and lay the "one" sleeve of crackers in line across the bottom. Put oil, spicy ranch mix and red pepper flakes in a container that can be shaken between each sleeve of crackers. Shake oil mixture well before you drizzle 1/3 C over the first sleeve, evenly coating the crackers. Add second sleeve of crackers and shake oil mixture well and drizzle 1/3 C evenly over 2nd sleeve of crackers. Repeat with 3rd and 4th sleeve. Close zip lock bag and rotate crackers every 2 - 3 hours. In 24 hours the crackers will have absorbed the oil and ready to eat.
