Spicy, Crispy Green Beans
Serving Size / Yield
- 1 lbs green beans, trimmed and washed
- 3 Tbs. olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 to 1 tsp spicy chili powder, depending on how hot you like it (cayenne works well too)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
Toss the green beans with the oil in a large bowl. Mix together the breadcrumbs and spices in another bowl.
Pour the breadcrumb mixture into the large bowl with the green beans and toss.
Lay them out in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes, or until browned.
Toss them half way through cooking for the best results.
