  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 C. kidney beans
  • 1 ½ C. yellow corn
  • ¾ C. red pepper, sliced
  • 2 Jalapeno peppers, slice
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • ¼ C. dried basil, chopped
  • ¼ tsp. ground black pepper
  • ¾ tsp. dried oregano
  • 1 (10.75 oz.) can tomato puree
  • 3 C. tomato juice
  • 1 Tbs. crushed red pepper

In a skillet, brown ground beef until no pink spots. Drain and place in crockpot. Mix in remaining ingredients and stir. Cover and cook for 8 hours on low. Serve warm.
