Spicy deviled eggs are truly diabolical, but so delicious. If you like a little extra kick in your appetizers, these are sure to please. Just make sure you warn anyone else who tries them. These eggs start out like ordinary deviled eggs, but they quickly turn up the heat with hot sauce and cayenne pepper. You can easily adjust the amount of heat you want to add by changing the amount of pepper and hot sauce added.

  • 6 hard boiled eggs, peeled
  • 4 Tblsp. mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp. yellow mustard
  • 2 tsp. hot sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 Tblsp. cilantro, minced

Cut the hard boiled eggs in half lengthwise. Scoop the yolks into a small bowl and mash them with a fork.

Mix the mustard, mayonnaise, hot sauce and cayenne pepper into the yolks and beat until smooth. You can use a hand mixer or food processor for this step, if desired.

Stir the cilantro into the yolk mixture. Spoon the mixture into a piping bag with a large star tip. Squeeze the mixture into the egg whites with a swirling movement.

Serve the deviled eggs with a sprinkle of cilantro on top and don't forget to warn people that they are hot
