Spicy Grilled Chicken Wings
Serving Size / Yield
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 Garlic Cloves
- ¼ C Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1 tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
- A Dash of Hot Sauce, or more to taste
- ¼ C Canola Oil or Olive Oil
- 1 ½ lb Chicken Wings
Begin this recipe by placing your salt and pepper into a medium bowl. Add the garlic cloves and crush into the salt to make a paste. Once pasty and well combined, add the lemon juice, crushed red pepper, and hot sauce. Finally, as if you’re making a vinaigrette, slowly whisk the olive oil into the mixture until well combined.
Set your chicken wings into a re-sealable bag along with the marinade. Shake and then refrigerate for 12 hours for maximum flavor.
When you are ready to cook, remove the chicken wings from the refrigerator and let come to room temperature, about 25 minutes. In the meantime, heat your grill to medium-high heat.
Make a foil packet for your wings or put them onto a shallow foil pan to grill. Pour a small amount of the marinade on top and seal the foil packet. Set on the grill to cook for about 25 minutes, turning the packet once. Once fully cooked, remove from the grill and serve warm with sides of your choice.
