Spicy Muenster Fondue

Add a kick to basic fondue with enchilada sauce and green chilies!

3 cups


  • one 10-oz. can enchilada sauce
  • 1/4 C. chopped green chilies
  • 3 C. shredded muenster cheese
  • 1/4 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1 Tbs. cold water

In a sauceapan, heat enchilada sauce and chilies.  Add cheese, a little at a time, stirring until cheese melts.  Stir in chili powder.  Combine cornstarch and water; add to sauce mixture.  Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.  Turn into fondue pot.  Keep warm.  Serve with French bread, ham, and shrimp for dipping.
