Hot pepper sauce, teriyaki, and dried mustard spice up a mixture of nuts.

  • 2 C. salted peanuts
  • 1 1/2 C. mixed nuts
  • 1/2 C. shelled pistachio nuts
  • 1 Tbs. vegetable oil
  • 1 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp. granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp. teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tsp. dried mustard
  • 1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce

In bowl, combine salted peanuts, mixed nuts and pistachio nuts. Combine oil, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, teriyaki sauce, mustard and hot pepper sauce; mix into nuts. let stand for 10 minutes. Spread nut mixture on nonstick baking sheet. Bake in 350 F oven, stirring every 5 minutes, for 15 minutes or until slightly sticky. (Nuts can be stored in airtight container for up to 2 weeks.) Makes 4 C.
