Spicy Korean tacos are one of the best creations to come into place. It is still your normal taco; it just packs a little more sweet heat. Cheese is definitely optional to put in this taco.

  • 1 lb of thinly sliced pork
  • 1/2 a large onion, sliced
  • 3 tablespoons of gochujang sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of red chili pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 2 cloves of garlic, finely minced
  • 1/2 a teaspoon of ginger powder
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon of toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • corn or flour tortillas
  • 3 cups of shredded romaine lettuce
  • 2 plum tomatoes, chopped
  • ΒΌ red onion, chopped
  • a handful of cilantro, chopped

First, in a small mixing bowl combine the gochujang, red chili pepper flakes, soy, sugar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, seeds, and mix well.
Then, in a large mixing bowl, combine the pork slices with the sauce, and mix everything well to coat all the pork slices gets seasoned with the sauce evenly.
Next, spread 1 tablespoon of oil to the skillet and bring it over medium-high heat. Place the pork over the skillet and add the sliced onion on top. When they sizzle, start mixing everything to cook evenly all the way or until the pork is fully cooked and the onions are soft, about 3-5 minutes.
Assemble your taco with pork and vegetable toppings. Then serve immediately.
