  • 1 ½ cup of pepitas (green-shelled pumpkin seeds)
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil (or melted butter/margarine)
  • 1/8 teaspoon of salt and pepper
  • ¼ of garlic salt
  • ¼ of cayenne pepper
  • ¼ of chili powder

Preheat the oven at 325F. Place parchment paper on a baking sheet. This will prevent the seeds from burning.
In a small bowl, add the olive oil and spices to the pepitas and mix well to incorporate the spicy flavor.
Place the seeds on the baking sheet and bake for 45 minutes or until the seeds look golden brown.
Cool for 10 minutes.
