  • 2 red bell peppers
  • 1 ½ cups raw walnuts
  • 3 cloves chopped garlic
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • ¼ cup lemon juice

Roast the red peppers until they are blackened or for 15 minutes. Turn to char them evenly. Then toast the walnuts on a baking sheet in the oven for 15 minutes at 350 degrees F. Peel the peppers and discard the stem and seeds. Add the roasted peppers, toasted nuts, garlic, paprika, pepper flakes, olive oil, and lemon juice to a food processor. Blend until the dip is smooth.
