Ingredients

  • 4 green peppers, tops and seeds removed
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 2 tsp of oil
  • 1 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup cooked rice
  • 1 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • Dash cayenne pepper
  • 1 jar (8 ounces) picante sauce

Directions

Preheat oven to 375.
Place oil and ground beef in a skillet and cook on high heat for 5-7 minutes. Set aside.
In a large pot, cook peppers in boiling salted water for 3 minutes. With cold water, drain and rinse. Combine seasonings, onion, ground beef, and rice; spoon into peppers. Place in a greased baking dish; top with picante sauce. Bake for 35-40 minutes.
