Spicy Salsa Verde

- 8 oz. tomatillos, husked and rinsed
- 1 jalapeno, stemmed
- 5 sprigs fresh cilantro, roughly chopped
- 1/4 C. onion, finely chopped
Preheat your broiler. Roast tomatillos and jalapeno on a baking sheet in the broiler for five minutes. Flip and cook for an additional five minutes. Combine the tomatillos, jalapenos, and cilantro into a blender or food processor and blend to a coarse puree. Stir in the onion and season with salt.
