  • 3 Garlic Cloves, crushed
  • 1 Tbsp Grated Ginger
  • 2 Tsp Vegetable Oil
  • 2 Tsp Five Spice
  • ⅓ Cup Marmalade
  • ⅓ Cup Maple Syrup
  • ¼ Cup Kecap Manis Soy Sauce
  • 3 Kg American-style Pork Spare Ribs Cut Into 3- Rib Pieces

Combine garlic, ginger, oil, five spice, marmalade, maple syrup and kecap manis into a shallow pan and mix together. Coat spare ribs with the mixture. Cover the pan and let the ribs marinate overnight.
Preheat the barbecue grill to medium. Remove spare ribs from pan, but preserve the marinade. Barbecue the ribs, make sure to turn and brush marinade over them, for 30 minutes or until cooked thoroughly.
