Ingredients

  • 1 pound of sirloin steak, sliced
  • 2 cups of red Swiss chard
  • 2 cups of arugula
  • 1 cup of walnuts
  • 1 cup of carrots, shredded
  • 1 cup of red radish, diced
  • 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon of dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon of ground mustard
  • 1 teaspoon of brown sugar
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ½ cup of apple cider vinegar
  • ½ cup of fresh lemon juice
  • ½ cup of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

For the steak salad:
As a skillet heats, thoroughly season the steak with the paprika, thyme, rosemary, garlic powder, onion powder, ground mustard, brown sugar, salt, and pepper. Add the steak to the skillet and cook for 3 minutes on each side. As the meat cooks, toss together the red chard, arugula, carrots, red radish and walnuts in a large bowl. Then add the steak on top onto the salad. Serve with the dressing and enjoy!

For the dressing:
In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, olive oil, sugar, salt, and pepper. Drizzle onto the steak salad and enjoy!
