  • 1 Tbs. butter
  • 1 large French baguette
  • 1 C. cheddar cheese, cubed
  • 1 C. fresh spinach, chopped
  • 6 slices bacon, crispy and crumbled
  • 1/4 C. fresh Italian parsley, minced
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 2 green onions, diced
  • 10 large eggs
  • 2 1/2 C. milk
  • 1 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce

Butter 9-by-13-inch baking dish. Cut baguette into cubes and place on the bottom of buttered baking dish. Layer cheese, spinach, bacon, onions and parsley on top. In a large mixing bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce. Pour egg mixture on top of casserole dish. Cover the casserole with aluminum foil and leave in fridge over night.

Preheat oven at 375 degrees F. Bake covered casserole for 40 to 45 minutes. Uncover the casserole and continue baking for 10 to 15 minutes or until cheese has melted.
