  • For the Dough:
  • 1 C. all-purpose flour
  • 1 C. bread flour
  • 1 T. sugar
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ½ T. active dry yeast
  • ¾ C. warm water
  • For the Pizza:
  • 1 ½ C. Alfredo sauce
  • fresh spinach leaves, washed and chopped
  • ½ lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 4 chicken tenders, grilled and cut into strips
  • 2 C. Italian 5-cheese blend, shredded
  • Italian seasoning
  • olive oil
  • garlic powder

For the dough, dissolve yeast in the water. Add the sugar and let set for 5 minutes. In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine flours and salt. Add yeast mixture and mix for 4 minutes using the dough hook. Add flour if too sticky or water if too dry. Place in a greased bowl and let rise 45 minutes until doubled. Roll out onto a lightly floured surface and place on a greased baking sheet. Preheat oven to 425°F. Brush pizza dough lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning and garlic powder. Spread Alfredo sauce evenly over pizza dough. Top with chopped spinach, chicken strips, and crumbled bacon. Sprinkle cheese over entire pizza, Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until crust is brown and cheese is melted. Serve warm.
