Spinach Dip Not for the Birds
- 8 oz. sour cream
- 1 C. mayonnaise
- 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. Italian dressing
- 6 chopped scallions, stalk and bulb
- 1 small package frozen chopped spinach thawed
- 6 garlic cloves (the more the better)
- 1 Tbs. chopped fresh or dried parsley
Mix all ingredients vigorously in a really big bowl.
Tippi says, For those watching our calories and fat intake, low-fat sour cream, Italian dressing and mayonnaise can be used. This dip is especially good when served in a large, round loaf of bread, scooped out into a large hollow bowl. Use the excess bread for dipping.
