  • 1/2 lb. steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 3 Tbs. vegetable oil
  • 2 garlic clove, minced
  • 8 slices bread, buttered
  • 2 C. milk
  • 10 eggs, beaten

Preheat oven at 350 degrees F. In a large bowl, mix steak, salt and pepper. Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak. Cook for 5 minutes. Stir frequently. Add garlic. Cook for 4 more minutes or until steak is tender. Place buttered bread slices on bottom of 9-by-13-inch baking pan. Evenly spread steak mixture. Combine milk and beaten eggs in a bowl. Pour in pan. Bake for 1 hour or 1 hour and 10 to 15 minutes or until eggs are ready.
