  • 2 flat-iron steaks
  • 8 large shrimps, peeled and deveined
  • ΒΌ cup chopped parsley
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 sprigs thyme

Add 1 tablespoon to a skillet over medium heat and when the butter froths add the shrimp and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side. Season with salt and pepper, toss with parsley and transfer to a plate removed from the heat. Cover with foil to keep warm.

Heat the oil in the skillet over medium-high. Pat the steaks dry and season the meat with salt and pepper. When the oil in the skillet starts to smoke add the meat to the skillet. Cook for 10 minutes, turning once. Reduce the skillet to medium heat and add the thyme to the steaks and 1 tablespoon of butter to the skillet. As the butter froths, spoon it over the steak several times before transferring the meat to a plate and serving with shrimp.
