  • 1 lb. sausage
  • 2 T. oregano
  • 1 tsp. red pepper flakes
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • ½ onion, sliced
  • ½ C. black olives, sliced
  • ½ C. mushrooms, chopped
  • Sliced pepperoni
  • 2 C. mozzarella
  • Preferred pizza sauce
  • 3 C. mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • Pizza dough if desired

In a large skillet, brown sausage with oregano, red pepper flakes, and garlic. Once sausage is cooked through, add in bell peppers, mushrooms, and onions to sauté for a few minutes. If you want a crust bottom, press dough into a greased baking dish and proceed with sauce, cheese, and toppings. If not, spread a majority of the sausage on the bottom of the dish. Top with sauce, cheese, toppings, and remaining sausage. Bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes.
