Stewed Chestnuts

Ingredients
- 1 lb. chestnuts, peeled
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 celery stalk
- 4 1/2 tsp. butter
- 1 tsp. meat bouillon
Directions
Put peeled chestnuts in oven at 375 degrees for 5 minutes. Remove the skin. Put chestnuts in a large skillet in 1 layer. Then add enough water to cover chestnuts. Add sugar, salt and celery stalk. Bring to boil and add butter and bouillon. Mix gently, cover skillet and cook 30 minutes or until chestnuts are tender.
