  • ½ stick butter
  • 3 T. flour
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 ½ C. milk
  • 4 oz. Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • ½ C. cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 ½ T. fresh black pepper

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a saucepan, melt butter and whisk in flour, salt, and pepper until smooth and thick. Pour in milk and bring to a simmer, stirring and cooking for 2 to 3 minutes as sauce thickens. Add in Velveeta and cheddar; stir until melted and remove from heat. In a greased baking dish, toss pasta with cheese sauce and bake for 30 minutes until bubbly.
