Stovetop Taco Casserole

Ingredients
- 1lb ground beef
- 1/2 C. chopped onions
- 1 1/2 C. uncooked quick cooking rice
- 1 C. mild picante sauce
- 1/2 C. water
- 16 oz. can whole tomatoes, cut up
- 12 oz. can green giant Mexi-corn [whole kernel golden sweet corn with red and green sweet peppers]
- 6 oz. can tomato paste
Directions
In a large skillet brown ground beef and onion, drain well. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cook until mixture comes to boil; boil 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Cover and let stand 5 minutes.
Makes 4 servings.
