Serving Size / Yield
- 1 C. water
- 3/4 C. sugar
- 2 Tbs. lemon juice
- 1 lb. strawberries, whole
Boil water and sugar in a medium sized saucepan until all the sugar has dissolved completely. Remove the mixture from the stove and chill for at least two hours.
Add the strawberries and lemon juice to the chilled syrup and blend in your blender until it is smooth. Pour the mixture into a deep cookie sheet and place into the freezer.
Once the mixture has frozen completely (about 4 hours), scrape with a fork to create ice crystals. Serve frozen.
