This one is worth the wait so let it chill and set well before slicing.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. (small) sugar free Cook & Serve vanilla pudding
  • 2 C. water
  • 1 pkg. (small) sugar free strawberry Jell-O
  • 4 C. sliced strawberries (16 oz. box of fresh strawberries=4 C.)

Directions

In a med saucepan, add water and pudding mix. Mix well then heat to a boil. Remove from heat and immediately add the Jell-O and stir until dissolved. Set aside and let it cool to room temperature. Place sliced strawberries into the bottom of a deep dish pie plate. Pour cooled pudding mixture over strawberries and refrigerate until chilled.

  • It is not a recipe when you use "store bought" glaze and cool whip as
    the ingredients. The crust did look interesting and was a recipe therefore I gave the pie two stars for the unique crust.
