  • 4 cups strawberries, cleaned and sliced
  • 1½ cups pomegranate arils
  • 1 cup flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • ¼ cup butter, cut into small pieces

Preheat the oven to 375F. Spread the strawberries and pomegranate seeds into a baking dish. In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda and sugar. Whisk in the egg and mix until everything is well mixed. Spread over the berries and then spread the pieces of butter on top. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until top is golden brown and the berries bubble.
