Strawberry Pretzel Mold

What a different, light and refreshing dessert this is it. The pretzel crust gives it a crunchy and different taste. Everyone will be wondering what it is.

Ingredients

  • 2 C. crushed small stick pretzels
  • 3 Tbs. sugar
  • 3/4 C. melted butter
  • 1 8-oz. pkg. cream cheese softened
  • 1 sm. container Cool Whip
  • 1 C. sugar
  • 1 lg. box strawberry jello
  • 1 20-oz. bag frozen strawberries
  • 1 sm. can crushed pineapple drained
  • 2 C. boiling water

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Crust:

Mix and press first 3 ingredients into a 13x9x1-inch pan and bake at 400 degrees for 7 minutes and then let cool.

Then dissolve the large box of jello in 2 C. boiling water and add 20-oz. bag of strawberries and small can of drained pineapple. Refrigerate until almost set.

Meanwhile, mix and blend 8 oz. cream cheese, small container of cool whip and 1 C. sugar. When blended well, spread over cooled crust. Take almost-set strawberry mixture and spoon over cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
