Strawberry Trifle
Ingredients
- 3.4 oz. pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1/4 tsp. almond extract
- 1 C. whipped topping
- 1 frozen Fudge Golden Layer Cake
- 3 C. sliced strawberries, divided
Directions
Prepare pudding mix according to package directions. Add almond extract. Refrigerate 5 minutes. Fold whipped topping into pudding. Cut frozen cake crosswise into 6 slices; cut each slice into 6 squares. Place half of the cake pieces in a 3 qt. glass bowl. Top with half of fruit and half of pudding. Repeat layers. Cover and refrigerate 30 minutes.
