Ingredients

  • 4 beef tenderloin patties
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 1 lg. green pepper, quartered
  • 1 med. onion, sliced
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 mushroom caps
  • 4 tooth picks
  • garlic powder
  • salt and pepper

Directions

Criss-cross bacon in a square baking dish. Place beef tenderloin patty in the center of bacon. Sprinkle with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Place onion and green pepper in this order on top of patty. Bring bacon ends up over the top of vegetables and place a toothpick in center to hold in place. Bake at 350 degrees for 75 minutes. During the last 30 minutes of cooking, drain grease. Add mushrooms on top. During the last 10 minutes of cooking place cheese on top.
